A Sign I Am No Longer Young

I recently had the following conversation with my teenage friend, J. J and her sister had just left an arcade and sat down to eat dinner at the adjoining restaurant. J took a bite of her burger and stated, "That is so raw!" I looked at her with concern and finished swallowing the food in my mouth. Just as I took a breath to answer her she stated, "We need to come back here. Those games are raw!" I am so glad I didn't let my nerdiness and age show by offering to get a waiter and have her food sent back to the kitchen.
